Product introduction
HFT-50 is a release agent that effectively solves the adhesion problem of negative electrodes in the negative electrode roll press process of lithium-ion batteries.
Highly conductive : Highly compatible with water-based solvents, it forms a film quickly and effectively blocks contact between graphite and steel rolls.
Low surface tension : Improves wettability of contacting materials, making film formation easier.
Chemical inertness : Organosilicon materials have excellent chemical inertness, effectively preventing residues from affecting the chemical balance within the battery.
Structural stability : Traces of organosilicon residue are undetectable, avoiding battery failure caused by volume expansion due to structural changes.

Mechanism Analysis
Currently, the rolling roll surface of the roll press equipment is chrome plated, and the surface tension at the beginning of use is about 30-32mN/m. After a certain period of use, the roll surface tension increases to about 30-40mN/m.
According to practical experience, when the surface tension of the mold is in the range of 17-23mN/m, it has a good releasing effect on the material. By applying HFT-50, the roll surface tension can be reduced to 17-23mN/m, which effectively improves the adhesion problem of the negative electrode. The most effective use is when a new roll with chrome plating is combined with the release agent, which can also extend the service life of the roll.
