HFW-110 is a functional additive with water as the solvent, which is used in the anode coating process of lithium-ion batteries. The main active ingredient is a mixture of alcohols, and this product effectively improves the problems of pole piece cracking, edge curling and flexibility loss during the anode coating process, thereby improving the yield rate of pole pieces and increasing the consistency of performance.
Principle of action
When added to a slurry, HFW-110 reduces intermolecular interactions through dissolution and penetration, improving the flexibility, flowability, and adhesion of the slurry.
This facilitates processes such as casting. The addition of HFW-110 during the homogenization process adjusts the interfacial tension and improves the affinity between the negative active material and the binder. Especially in high areal density coating processes, it improves the solvent evaporation kinetics during the drying process of the slurry, and improves the high temperature drying resistance of the pole pieces.
This reduces uneven tension caused by uneven drying speeds in different areas and improves pole piece cracking, edge curling and loss of flexibility after high temperature drying.
